Well, I think it's fair to say our first Yardsale was *quite* successful
My heart fell into my boots this morning when the rain started to fall, but we needn't have worried ;D
We really owe a massive debt of thanks to the
magnificent staff at CDH today, Nick, Emma and Alain
As the weather was less than fair, they had prepared a spankingly clean 'Shop Floor' for us in the big pen, and within no time at all, we were set up, and ready for bizniz!
And before we knew it, the car park was full, the lane was full, there were cars parked all the way down to the trading estate
People came, they bought
and brought, we had another haul of absolutely fabulous donations and frenetic buying, and it all got a little bit hectic!
Fran brought *a little something* for our raffle on Wednesday at the Quiz night *bump*
Chocolate heaven! Not sure if you can make out the contents, there's an absolutely fabulous chocolate shoe in this heavenly hamper!
Stars of the show were the dogs (naturally)..
Laura brought Tyson down to visit his forever friend, Seren...
Chunky Monkey Dizzy out for walkies!
Bones, and someone who WLTM...
Moo-Moo stopped by to say 'Hi'
Oh dear, this lovely lad is still looking for his forever home
Roses are red, Violets are just huggle monsters!
Alfie was an emaciated, mange ridden pup when he came into CDH, just look at him now!
Benji popped in to say 'Hi'!
And we were soooo chuffed to see Xena, with Carol!
Katie, our Coffee & Cakee Queen, serving hot beverages through the portal that is the 'Kitchen Window'
Halloween Comp Winners came to pick up their medals and prizes...
'Lo Dash
And here's Heidi's peeps -
Heidi's numbers came up in the raffle too!
Congrats Heidi! Look what you won
A personalised high feeder! Lucky Girl ;D er, don't worry, it won't say 'Alfie'! You get to have your own name on it sweetiepie!
I don't know why these ladies are looking so pleased with themselves! Banjo? Have you got something to tell us
Friends first ever Yardsale, despite the weather, raised a mahoosive
£457.86 Lynne Gutsymum brought along this weeks' proceeds from Cash for Clothes of
£46.35, and Sandra's new initiative, Cur-Rency Exchange brought a staggering
£86 to the table today, so our coffers were swelled to the tune of
£590.21 Considering we all got home in time to watch the rugby (well, nearly all of us)
I think it's fair to say this was a result
Shame about the Rugby
Thanks everyone, you were, as always, blimmin magnificent
