I can't make the Sunday Swalk now (gutted) so will do my long awaited poundie fix tomorrow.

I did debate on this or the BSL in town but think the dogs really need to get out as much as possible.

I'll come along with all the others.

I'll be at PAH tomorrow with a pooch from the Home. ;D

Me and the kids would like to help walk a dog over etc....but I wonder if we could have a 'short stay' dog (maybe a young or old one) as I predict Jac will soon het bored with standing outside PAH regardless of how many moshi monster toys I take!!!

We will also be there at the swalk (husband too so could probably take 2 staffies!), so we will get a good CDH fix this weekend!!

That would be great Lisa, any length of time you can stay would be welcome! Its a good walk to PAH for the dogs so I'd say take any dog you fancy spending time with x

Caz DD with Missy, Jenny with Dewsbury, Lucee and Al with Ali and Tyson, Lisa with Max, Anita with Twizzle, Becky with Junior, and a pop in visit from Hana and Anders with Salem.

Now the Base Campers;-
Lynne Gutsymum with Gutsy and Stella, Lynne Daffysmum and all the Morris clan, dogs and all, Caz and Sadie, and helped out for an hour by a member of the ''No Dogs Allowed'' Quizz team.

Thanks must be given to Rob and Becky of CDH who under a great staff shortage got the dogs out for us on a busy Sat morning.

The effort today raised £160.40p

Blimey What a fabulous turn out

And what a corker of a fundraising day too It's lovely to see so many of our dogs getting out to meet their public ;D

Bern is right, I know CDH was hectic over the weekend, and Rob & Becky did an amazing job at getting the dogs out two days running for Friends (as well as the feeding, cleaning, rehoming, intaking, and all their 'normal' duties). I hear they had a little bit of help from one of our young Friends too! Katie

Thanks Bern for taking the lead on this, and to everyone who turned out. Very special thanks to all our young Friends, who do soooooooo much to promote our dogs. I love that pic of Jac & Dewbury ;D You couldn't get a better pair of ambassadors for child friendly dogs, and dog savvy children.
