The Baron's have just started doing quiz nights, every Wednesday. The 3rd Wed of the month will be for a local charity, and their first one is for us ;D Thats cool. Shame we arent a localised charity. I asked Tracey did she have ideas for our team name and so we will be Oldies Club lol. I hope people dont get the wrong impression of us as we're all under 50 its the dogs not us! Will make sure I bring along our info cards just incase ;D

It was indeedy ;D Our host for the evening was the lovely Gemma... and we were playing to a 'full house' ..... Some people were taking things very seriously.... Caz: 'FIVE! - I TELL YOU, A YORKIE IS FIVE'! Some of the questions were dog themed but if you weren't there, and you can work out what the question was if answer was 'A YORKIE IS FIVE ', I'll put a tenner in the kennel fund No cheating - that would be totally against the spirit of the evening, which was firm but fair) 'Keep an eye on that table .......' Caught in the act Nah, it's OK ;D Pre- quiz texting 'I don't know what time I'll be home, I have to stay for the raffle draw - first prize is a Kong Keyring....' The raffle table looked splendid! But alongside the 'serious quizzers', some were just out for a good ol' larf... Hello Oldies Club! Although, some teams had f-a-r too much to drink ...and someone (no names, her job could be at stake) insisted on doing a karaoke... Raffle drawn, happy pobl - Jean May, you sooooo keep popping up in Friends' happy pics... ... and the winning team was.... ... fair play, blimmin' magnificent and very generously immediately threw their winnings into the evening's total for our Kennel Fund.... Which raised a magnificent £285.00Peeps, this was soooooo much fun! Mahoosive to Emily and her lovely, lovely team at the Barons Court, and to everyone who supported Friends and all our dogs at CDH ps - Becky & Co - I didn't manage to get a pic, but fair play, you threw a blinder with the raffle prizes! Thanks to everyone, there or not, in the pics or not, who helped make Friends first 'Social' very, very special

It was a really good night which we all enjoyed even though we were rubbish and came 8th As I was driving was on the soft drinks. Discovered they were free refills which meant i drank far too much coke and couldnt sleep when I got home. Drifted off about 1.30am and then a frame fell off the wall so i was wide awake again. Look like the living dead this morning. Thanks to Susie we will hopefully be having one for Oldies Club in June
