It was my first SWALk today too and I had a great time! It was lovely to get a few of the dogs out at the same time and I think they all enjoyed the fellow doggy company too. A good time was had by all I reckon! I managed to get a pic of 4 of them all at the same time, here we have (from L - R) Sasha/Pepper, Penny, Aztec and Bow. Penny looks like she is having a good old sing song to herself and Aztec and Bow are having a girly natter at the back

Oh Butch! You's such a funny lad Thanks Conny (Mrs Camera) Kara's mum for getting such fabulous shots Despite the snow, and the f-f-f-f-r-e-e-e-z-i-n-g c-c-c-c-c-o-l-d our courageous and committed S'WALKERS got the following doglets out today... Jade K3, (the staff thought she could do with a little break from her pups, but she couldn't wait to get back to them, she's a lovely yummy mummy), Boomer K5, Jason K6, George K8, Indie K11(er, more than twice! the walkers luffs Indie - don't they Smudgesgirl, Katie, and Maria) , Susie K13 (oh, she's luffly), and Malibu K14 (lots and lots of Malibu pics, Conny)! Rusty K15, Russell K 16 and Terry K17 (thanks you Isaac, one of our Brave Young Friends), Mike K21, Jake 23, Bruno K24 and Penny K 25 (who had very special visitors today) shhhh, reserve, shhhhhh, fingers crossed that Chloe agrees with her mum and dad - Chloe, Penny really WLTM you tomoz! Pepper K28, Evra, Julius, Butch, Aztec and Ollie - K 31 - 35) and Ollie - you didn't come back after your second walk did you buddy! You just carried on walking with your new family to your forever home Cheyenne K 37 - who is now settled enough to enjoy a trot out - good girl Cheyenne, Bow K 38, (er, very excited to be out eh lovely girl) Snoop K39 and new resident, K44 Beauty (who I haven't met yet, but I'm getting a picture in my mind already) ;D Also, the fabulous workaholic staff made sure that these got an outing too.... Josh K7 (who also didn't come back to kennels - good luck in your new home lovely boy) and Talvla K18, Benji and Mini, K 29 & K30 (3 'newbies') .... Bit of a marathon day then, despite the bitter winds and gentle snow ;D Thank you to everyone who turned out, the dogs didn't mind the weather one little bit, there was plenty of snowdrops on little noses, beautifully captured by Conny, which is just as well because baglady's camera won't come out to play in temperatures below -2 - seriously, wot a wusy camera - but that's what the manual says Right then, off to update where I can, but can't leave without saying another mahoosive to all our S'WALKERS Woof! with love and affection from all the dogs, you do make their day special

Fair play to you Donna, I thought twice about it (and I only live up the road) It would have been horrendous if the snow had really driven down and settled. As it was, it turned sleety and wet, but honey, with all the will in the world, there's no way I would have driven an hour up the motorway today, wouldda been folly This was only our second S'WALK, and we'll be having them every month. The spring ones will be beautiful, daffodillies and dappled sunshine on the Ely trail..... ;D Bless everyone who did brave the elements today but we could have ended up 'staying the night' More luck than judgement eh

What about my lovely boy Major, did he get to s'walk today too? he needs a lot of walkies to be a lovely calm boy but I think he'd have loved it! Major didn't, nor did Freddie. I know Freddie had a 'close encounter of the snippet kind' this week, possibly so did Major? (I need to check). And Lil Rusty didn't go out, (but he's just a teeny poopie, and the staff thought he might not like the chilly winds). They were the only ones who didn't come out today. The Home staff are brilliant at keeping a record of the dogs' walks, and making sure that every doglet gets their fair share of walkies. So walkers, if you don't get to walk the dog 'you want', you know you'll get the dog that 'wants you' Hopefully Major and Freddie are 'good to go' tomoz, so walkers, if you're at the Home tomorrow, please ask for Major (K20) and/or Freddie (K2) by name - they both luffs their walkies

I am a little with Aztec, she looks like a scruffy version of my Sali - but sadly 2 dogs is our limit...still I'm hoping I can get to at least walk her at some point
