Aw, if you were looking for the spirit of Christmas, generosity, good cheer and goodwill to all dawgs, then St John's Square was the place to find it today
Derek the Weather warned that it might be a bit chilly and wet
So, mindful of the little paws who worked their socks off today, we set up at 11 o'clock, and were done and dusted and on our way home by half past three. Brrrrrrrr, it was cold, but our doglets and vols were absolutely golden
Alfie, could I be any cuter?
Santa's little helper! You sure lived up to your name Alfie! Thank you for my kisses
Steph, methinks you and Alfie had a bit of a double act going on today
MooMoo, our very own sugar plum fairy, and mum and dad, doing their very own crowd stealing...
MooMoo has been doing overtime these last two weeks, and has made her own special contribution to Ava's Vet Fee's as well as joining us for our December events. Thank you Moo Moo, and mummy and daddy
And where would we be without the Morris Clan ....
From day 1, Smudgie and his girl Katie, Lynne & Alan, young Friend Amy, and latterly little heart stealer Sam, have been out with Friends at pretty much every event we have held. Friends would not be what it is without them
I don't know who this woman is
Some of you might though Thanks for coming today Becky I know you have a habit of snooking dogs under your jumper and taking them home with you S'allright Kirsty, Bas came home with me ;D
Anita, adding a bit of 'jingle' to the afternoon
Methinks there are going to be pics of the dog from the TK Maxx advert all over facebook tomorrow, thanks to Anita's ability to get 'the money picture' from Babbabs! Anita - this is your cue! Where's that piccie?
Special kisses to Bas, the most embarrassed reindeer in Cardiff! Ahhh, little guy, you made mummy so proud today
Thank you so much to everyone who braved the weather today, with a special mention to Steve, the caretaker of High Street Arcade, who gave our dogs shelter when the rain came down, and everyone who stopped to say hello, to take a picture, to throw money into the bucket, but most of all to Bern, who masterminded our two weeks of fabulous fundraising in St John Square, but who appears to have been more camera shy than baglady today Thanks Bern, you played a blinder!
