Meet Jimmy! As some of you who have been down at the home may realise Jimmy came in back in October but was a very nervous boy when he first arrived into the scary kennel environment. He has been given lots of time to settle in and find his feet and he is now ready to move on and find his forever home. We took Jimmy out for a nice walk today and it was fantastic to see how far this lovely lad has come on, we think he might be a bit of a water baby as when we reached the end of the track by the Ely just before we turned around to come back he was paws first into the water! We think he is approximately 5yrs old, he also has the most gorgeous dappled tan and black feet. When we were at the home we had to do some routine moving around of some things out of my car into the shed, Jimmy thought the shed was fantastic and much better than his normal kennel ;D (if you look in the background I can't possibly imagine why!... ) After giving in to that gorgeous face Jimmy proudly walked around the yard with his new treat... Jimmy has an adorable habit of choosing to sit on your feet and leaning against your legs Jimmy is available for rehoming immediately, if you'd like more info, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7days a week, 10.30 - 4pm

Ah Jimmy's beautiful! It's such a shame to see so many rotti's turning up at the home. I'm so happy to see al the staff putting in the extra effort to help Jimmy settle. Rotti's are such a brilliant breed, and whoever's lucky enough to rehome Jimmy, will reap the rewards!!

I had the absolute pleasure of walking Jimmy today. Although he was a bit excited when we first started (who wouldn't be getting a taste of freedom!) He soon settled into a steady trot. For my own rotti, I use a gentle leader head harness, I think if Jimmy had one of these walking him would be a breeze. Jimmy is a stunning boy, and quite small for a male. He'd make a very loyal companion for someone willing to give him a chance!

Oh Jimmy, what are you doing on the bottom of page 2! We went all nice and early to take Zeb for a walk a couple of Sundays ago and out ran Jimmy! I wasn't sorry though because it turns out there is room for more than one lovely Rottie at Cardiff Dogs! As you can see, Jimmy has a soft temperament and loves a good fuss. He does the funniest thing when you get the treats out. He comes right up close and sits practically on your feet! He showers the staff with affection when he sees them, showing that he really does get attached to people and enjoys the attention he gets back

No words. . . just run free and be happy Jimmy, you were on my shortlist, along with Junior and Zeb of dogs to introduce to Simon and possibly adopt. So sorry I couldn't get there sooner!
