My husband, two kids and I walked Mr Jingles yesterday. Firstly, I may say how absolutely stunning he is. He is very handsome in the flesh. He was great on the lead and walked nicely beside me. The kids running around didn't bother him and he wasn't bothered by cars, passing bikes or runners. He doesn't seem to like other dogs and I would definitely say he wouldn't be good in a home with other dogs (although we only passed male dogs so that's all I can comment on) but he was lovely with people!! What I really liked about him, was the way he looked up at me every 5 minutes or so. Some dogs don't connect with the walkers as they are used to random people the end of lead who come and go (who can blame them?) but Mr Jingles was very aware of my husband and of me when I had the lead. He was loving without getting me covered in dog dribble! He also sat and gave his paw for a treat and sat and waited nicely for the kids to catch up. Mr Jingles is a good looking middle aged gentleman, who may not like dogs very much but he makes up for this in his fondness for people! If you are looking for a calm, intelligent, interesting dog who will bond with you in a special way but you aren't keen on the big wet sloppy tongues and dribble....Mr Jingles is your man xxx

A 'bump' for the gorgeous boy!
I tell you Mr Jingles, if Snowy hadn't successfully stolen my heart (and my sofa) all those months ago, you'd be top of my wish list.
I hope you find a home that's perfect for you soon. x

I took Mr. Jingles for a walk on Friday. What a great dog ;D Leggy, rangey, self contained, a little rough around the edges in a kind of Sean Bean way. He loved having a jog alongside me when I broke into a trot and he'd make a fantastic companion on a run along the Taf Trail. He's a real sniffer, spends a long time reading messages from other dogs and leaving notes back. He sits on command and after the initial excitement of being out he walks beautifully on the lead. I stepped on his paw by accident when we were messing around with the video and he just gave a little yelp - didn't tell me off at all. Lovely lovely dog - he would be easy to overlook but he is a real treasure. View My Video

I so wish I could have Mr Jingles at home with Sooki....
just 2 minutes in his company and he stole my heart...when you look into his eyes you just know you'l have a friend for life...he has bags of character, and such a warm personality...
Good luck Mr Jingles, keeping my fingers crossed that you find your forever home...if Sooki could, then you will too x

I agree with all the comments above - Mr Jingles is a lovely dog Have had 2 lovely walks with him this weekend - he is a friendly and endearing boy! I love the way he keeps looking at you as you are walking as if to make sure that everything is ok! He loves to have a sniff and walks well on the lead. He is not a big fan of other dogs and had a quick bark at some of the ones we met whilst out, but this seems to be a nervous thing rather than aggression. I'm sure that once he has his own home and lots of walks this will not be much of a problem. Some photos of our walks are below.

We had a nice walk with Mr Jingles at the weekend - love him! He has so much character and is very funny the way he keeps looking around at you to make sure you're there! I'm really surprised that Jingles is still there as he's a sweet dog with a lovely character, easy to walk and really likes people. I assume that the reason he hasn't been adopted yet is that he isn't keen on other dogs, but this really isn't a huge problem when you're out with him. He will have a quick bark at most of the dogs you meet, but once he's done this he carries on fine - and if you distract him from other dogs well enough he sometimes doesn't even notice them! We bumped into Cooper (I think that's his name!!) and Jingles didn't bark at all - in fact he didn't seem to know whether he wanted to say hello or was scared! I think he's just a bit nervous/unsure of other dogs - perhaps he has had a bad experience in the past or just wasn't used to them before - and being in the kennels with all the noise/barking probably hasn't made this any better.... Please don't be put off by his slight dislike of other dogs! He is a lovely boy -take him out for a walk and you will see

Snoop/Sooki was tarnished with 'not good with other dogs'....but having had her home for 2 months, she is making excellent progress with other dogs...it's only small measures but progress all the same and it's not to hard to do....... I'm confident that Mr Jingles will make the same progress, he just needs love, trust and a chance!

To add to that from what I've experienced of mr jingles his reactions are not half what ms snoops used to get herself into.
