Weather permitting we need hardy volunteers next Sat 26 & Sun 27 to help in the Sensory Garden - laying the path, locating the agility tunnel, building a small mound, setting in the sandpit and water feature and time permitting puttin down top soil and turf. It's nearly finished - can't wait to see the dogs using their playground!!!

I can distribute refreshments if that's any help or light duties? I'm afraid I can't lift anything heavy or do anything too strenuous as I'm still recovering from op, but happy to come along and help/support in any way I can. Caz

The more the merrier Thank you all. As soon as a decision is made about the weather which effects whether the top soil can be delivered and obviously we can't do it if the soil is still frozen, we'll let you know There will be an awful lot of top soil to shift - if you're up for that and there is any chance you can bring a spade and if you can manage a wheelbarrow that would be fantastic ;D We will have a few but the more there is, the faster we can get it done

I can come Sunday and I have a spade I can bring I know it's dependent on the weather but if it is good to go, what time is everyone aiming for? 11 o'clock start on Saturday, maybe earlier on Sunday. The team from Bereavement Services will be digging the path edges, the sandpit, etc, then it's going to be all hands on barrows - shifting and raking 20 tonnes of topsoil and 3 tons of stone chippings It's been said before, but many hands make light work ;D Things to bring (if you have any), wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels and wrap up warm eh - it's going to be

Nik and I can be there after 11.30 maybe earlier depending on prior appt. Will it still go ahead in the rain? Might be a silly question but if its as bad as it is now its going to be hard/heavy going. Will you be able to confirm the go ahead by 9am if poss. Cheers Caz

Caz I'm going to bring some soup & rolls and the urn Caz, it would be fab if you could do a stint in the kitchen. ;D The topsoil (30 tonnes) and stone chippings (6 tonnes) and the team from Bereavement Services are coming whatever the weather - so it's go-go-go tomorrow ;D
