Hi. I've just seen the flyer for Pentwyn Fun day and it says Friends of CDH will be there? I can't see it mentioned anywhere - its a fabulous opportunity as there are heaps of dog people in Pentwyn - I know I see them all the time and they are really friendly. Unfortunately, I'm away this weekend otherwise I would have gone. Be interested to know what you're doing there? Cheers Caz

CDH is attending this event to offer free microchipping, and Friends have been invited, so although this is all a bit lastminute.com we are going to have a stall ;D We also have permission to run a small fun dog show. There isn't room for a doggy dash, but we will be able to have a sausage catching competition. Right then folks, I'm off to take Missy to hydro, will fill in more details when I get back, but in the meantime if you're up for giving a hand, please post up here This is a small community event, it's not going to be a long day, 12 o'clock until 4 o'clock, but we can probably squidge quite a bit in if we pull together. Anyone up for it ;D

Thank you Uncle Lynne and Katie And Rach Bandanas R Us! We'll bring leads & collars for the stall and whatever else I can squidge into the Green Machine ;D We have indoor and outdoor areas, so we can spread ourselves out quite a bit This event is in aid of the Hollies After School Club, and I thought it would be nice to donate say the takings from the Best Sausage Catcher to their funds if everyone is in agreement Does anyone know whether there are any medals left?

Also, thinking about what stock we're going to take, I was thinking whatever Rach is going to bring, plus leads and collars, Woodlands treats (does anyone know where these are after the Fonmon Show)? What else sold well on the Fonmon stall peeps? Does anyone have any stock that hasn't been returned? If you do, and you think it will go down well at this event, if there's any chance you could drop it to Pentwyn Leisure centre (even if you can't stay) that would be massive

I think the medals are in the bags I handed to you Sus on Tuesday, but I won't stake my life on it! They were on the tables at fonmon but disappeared so "could" be I'n one of those bags!! Failing that they normally have them for sale for party's in asda! Gutted we can't help! Sorry a rare family Saturday that has been argued over for weeks. (By myself) Good luck Friends

I agree Amy. The sun shone though, we still managed to raise £112.00 and on top of that donated the proceeds from the Best Sausage Catcher to Hollies, a school for children with special educational needs. We are hoping that some of the youngsters from Hollies will come to CDH to spend some time in the garden with a few dogs.
