yes she's on the mend now - down in pembs at the mo visiting family but have to come back tomorrow avo for a vets appointment. met some lovely people with greyhounds who gave me a great tip for stopping stiches being chewed........ instead of using those awful plastic neck cones, pop a t-shirt on the dog and secure it with a hair bobble to stop it riding up. Admitedly Dash now looks like she wants a part in Fame! but she is also comfy and all stitches are intact! simples! i just need to find her some leg warmers now..........

John Barrowman was opening a Dogs Trust charity shop in Cowbridge today with little Capt jack so not sure if he is their patron........... would still be worth an ask though.

I hope to make contact with Maria and Steve this week to have a chat about home visiting. I wanted to do this before but have been very tied up with a vehicle purchase that has gone wrong. I feel it would be better to chat to staff first on the matter and then to those of you interested in geting involved. I also have two humans interested in joining our forum. While I am having a rabit on things, what do fellow members think of the idea of geting Christmas cards set up for members to be able to send and be able to sell to raise funds and profile. John

John might be worth testing the waters with that one in the fundraising bit, but ... its often a difficult one as the only way is to do them in bulk - a lot of the larger charities sell christmas cards at a reasonable price that way but very dificult for smaller charities/organisations to + profit margins not very good either - we may need to do cards like this in the summer as they should be ready for sale shortly
