We'll be having our next sale of donated clothes at Sully Car Boot Sale this Sunday at The Sully Sports & Leisure, South Road, Sully, Penarth.
If you would like to come and help we will be there from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. Friends' usual spot is down at the bottom of the field, the first or second row overlooking the sea. NB. please check back on Saturday for confirmation that this event is going ahead as it is a fine weather event.
Our last boot sale raised an almighty £185, which is the current record so we're aiming to beat that this Sunday. ;D

Absolutely fabulous Caz It's a lovely spot, I have to say I really enjoyed last week's. It's dog friendly as well, and there were quite a few donations thrown into the bucket ;D Shall I bring some of the plastic dog beds?

Yeah Susie, bring some of the plastic beds - they're better for rummaging as they're shallower.
Lisa, will see you there if you're able to make it.
So far, the BBC weather forecast for tomorrow says it will rain later on in the afternoon so fingers crossed it's dry 8.30 am to 1.30 p.m. ;D

I'm going to weed in the CDH garden now, as thought you were doing Bessemer instead

Rach & Sandra did Bessemer today (Saturday) so I'm going to give Caz a hand at Sully, will be down at CDH by noon with gardening gloves (which I hope to pick up at the boot sale for pennies)

Due to the rain coming in at about 10.30 a.m. we had a shorter session at Sully today.
The number of sellers and buyers was poor due to the weather so our next one will coincide with good weather which should bring out the crowds again. We're aiming for 30th June for the next one (sorry, think it clashes with Last Sunday but if it's dry and remotely sunny we need to do it).
Ending on a positive note, we bumped up last week's total to £220. Yay! ;D

I'm going to weed in the CDH garden now, as thought you were doing Bessemer instead We generally don't do Bessemer for the clothes as they won't buy anything unless it's 50p or under, preferably under. ...although I never say never ;D

Yay! ;D Great result Caz ;D Despite the weather we've had a pretty brilliant carbooting weekend between us all I think we did well at Bessemer because there weren't that many tables and so there was less competition. We seem to make less when it's hot and the place is heaving Thanks to everyone who gives us such great Booty to sell - people often say how much good stuff is on our table and I think we are getting a number of regular customers who look out for us, and who make a point of supporting the Dogs Home by not taking any change. We will be taking more car booty donations at our Last Sunday this month, and we have space in our store Rach
