That was a beautiful write up. I won't even pretend to imagine how heartbroken you must feel. But look back with pride that you rescued such a beautiful dog. The greatest gift is to love and be loved. God bless

So sad to hear your news. It sounds like that he had all the love he ever wanted when he was with you. i know it is had saying goodbye to a member of the family, but you will be able to look back and smile at all the happy memories you made together our love and thoughts are with you x

So sorry to read your sad news. We had to make the same heartbreaking decision to let our rottie girl go in August after rehoming her in 2013. They really are the most loving breed ever, and people were always amazed how soft and gentle she was. It is the hardest thing you can do to let them go but it is also the last act of kindness that you can do for them, to put them and their needs first. And as we were with our girl, you were with your handsome boy at the end as he went to sleep for the last time so he knew he hadn't been abandoned again. He went to sleep knowing love.
