What a fabulous day we had at CDH, the sun was out, it was lovely to some absolutely fabulous donations flocking in, in kind and in cash
We were thrilled to see some of our very young fundraising Friends, recent adopters, loyal Friends who have supported us since the day dot, and some very welcome newcomers who turned up with goodies from our wish list
We got some pics too!
Playsand to replenish the 'beach' in the Sensory Garden Thank you sooooooooo much
A massive to Caz Nightingale and Admiral Insurance for a lovely donation to the Environmental Enrichment Fund. Caz Caz has been running the Tuck Shop and Admiral very generously match funded, and we were handed a cheque for £420.00 which means we have hit our target for Part III of our program, bringing Soft Soothing Music to the kennel blocks
We are waiting to hear from the Council re some electrical work that needs doing before we can arrange the installation, and we hope to be humming along to all the best tunes at CDH very soon ;D
Here come the donations......
It was a really busy day for donations, blankies, treats, toys and top nosh for our dogs, bootiful booty bounty.....
Rach was there bright and early to welcome the early birds, and get dibs on the bargain buys....
The fab stuff just kept coming.....
Recently rehomed Samson hasn't forgotten his doggy friends at CDH, and has well and truly roped in his mum and dad to help out with fundraising ;D Good Dog Samson
Caz DD and Bern had their Harry Potter sorting hats on, and whooshed through the cash for clothes/booty/on-line/agency bags, which, as always, included some very special donations....
Little Iorrie, our youngest ever fundraiser at only 5 1/2 months of age, proudly presents Lynne, our treasurer, a fab donation of £270 which he raised at his recent Christening
Cwtches from Beccie...
Despite all the accolades, Iorrie couldn't quite see what all the fuss was about, it's all in a days work eh Iorrie
Our young friends have been an inspiration since the day we started, they have dug deep into their pocket money, got stuck in with fundraising events, with the sensory garden, and it's always very humbling when donate their treasured things to help our dogs.
Thank you so much for your lovely donations Karen, delighted to tell you that the bike was rehomed pretty much straight away ;D
And another bumper boost for the kennel fund came courtesy Leanne & James who took Friends little pooch Fudge on his inaugural expedition up Mount Snowden
They raised a mahoosive £529.00
With the added sales & donations from the day, a lovely cash donation from Andrea, and not including the proceeds from cash for clothes, our fabulous supporters brought in a total of £1297.72
How fabulous is that
