Arthur has only just come in to CDH, and was understandly a little bewildered when he came out for his photos. This lovely old boy padded quietly around the vet room, and is obviously missing his home, he has a heartbreakingly sad look about him.... Arthur did a lovely sit for us, but really he just wanted to be curled up in his bed. Poor ol guy, we're keeping everything crossed that this lovely gent will find a home quickly. Please consider an oldie if you have space in your home and your heart. Arthur will be available for rehoming from 7th December if his owners don't come forward to claim him. If you'd like to know more please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7days a week, 10.30 - 4pm

Poor Arthur I hope his owners find him, or he gets a new home soon. It's far too cold for an old boy to be in kennels this time of year

can't believe he's still there! He's absolutely gorgeous. If I had my own house he would have his very own sofa. He's got to have a home before Christmas bless him

Arthur looks really sad.
Has anyone taken him for a walk yet?
I think I'll see if I can take him out during my lunch break tomorrow and see if we can take some happier pictures of him, poor love. x

We took this lovely man out today and hes such a lovely soul! We really were surprised at the pace he was happy jogging along at, I think with an extendable lead he would be in heaven jogging along for a couple of minutes then stopping for a good sniff again. He really was lovely and when we got back had the treat of hanging out in the office on a blanket in the warm. Arthur isn't a fan of the kennels and doesn't come out from the back of his kennel at all so he is easy to miss but hopefully he will find a warm sofa soon.

We are really interested in giving Arthur a home. We have two children 7 & 4. Do u think he would be ok with young children or are you looking for an older household ?

I hope the lovely family that were interested in adopting Arthur will still be as keen after Christmas when the home reopens. Would be great to see him in his own home, away from the cold soon xx

We will def be there, can't stop looking at his sad face. So sad that we can't have him before Christmas. I'm sure they'll look after him really well until then.

Ah that's brill news! ;D It was heartbreaking when I went down a few weeks ago and he wouldn't ome out of his indoor kennel area, I thought the poor mite would be waiting ages for his forever home, as nobody would even know he was there! eally hope it all works out for you, would make a brilliant start to my new year to know he's happy and loved.

Awwww bless him. Thx for those he's adorable. Just wait until my daughter see him tomorrow. She can't stop, talking about him.
We used to have a cocker spaniel that was the same colouring that's why he caught our eye.
Can't wait to meet him. X
