Very sad to have to say that Poppy is now running free over rainbow bridge. Despite so much help and support from many, her demons continued to haunt her and after an unfortunate incident and long discussions with vet and others, we took the hard decision to let her go. She went in our arms, licking her favourite pate from my fingers amongst lots of tears. She was greatly loved and is hugely missed. Yesterday was the first anniversary of her passing and I miss her as much now as on that day. Run free Poppy xxx

What a tough, but brave decision to have to make. Sleep tight Poppy, and huge thanks to your family who loved you so so much and made sure your memories will be happy ones. My heart goes out to you all xxx

I have such admiration for people who work so hard to give a dog like Poppy the best possible chance of a happy life. Shame on whoever let her be scared so badly before she came to you that she never got over it.
Sleep tight Poppy, you were obviously well loved by good people. x
