Puzzle has only recently come into CDH and is still under assessment. Bless her, lovely lady, she did look a little bemused, but hopefully some tlc and kindness will do wonders for her.

MUST. NOT. RESERVE....
I DO. NOT NEED ANOTHER ELDERLY COLLIE. My husband would divorce me. Especially after the "feral cat" adoption incident... SOME ONE TALK SENSE INTO ME, PLEASE!!!

Tiger me and you have the same issue!!!! I just met puzzle and had the shortest walk ever (she had such a stressed look in kennel I had to give her 20mins relief even though i had an appointment and only came to drop off some biscuits). she had a sniff met milo and Gavin nicely and every bone in my body is currently screaming take her home give her a warm bed to rest in until the end of her days. But my other half would go mental. This seriously old lady is amazing....

Awww... she's a girlie is she? I saw her in kennels and she barked a lot, jumping up at the gate, and I thought oh dear another collie who can't settle in kennels. Hope she's not there long. xxx

Seriously she didn't bark or jump today she just looked so SAD. I took her out and she walked stopped sniffed for ages stood patiently while I chatted to other walkers received fuss and took a treat gently. This lady just really needs a nice fire to lie in front of and a gentle sniff out of doors now and again, she seemed very low maintenance.

We went down to the home today and met Puzzle too. She was shaking with nerves in the kennel but within 5 mins of being outside with us she was like a different dog. Such a sweet gentle little soul.

Does anyone know if the home would mind me bringing puzzle some old dog specific treats and coming and (if puzzle doesn't mind) trying to comb her tangled locks a little? Strikes me this old pooch doesn't want to walk far but would enjoy the one to one time outside the kennel..

I've just ordered 2 senior kongs online as they're not available in Pets at Home. Not arrived yet though. They're softer rubber so they're not as harsh on their old teeth. She might like one of them to keep her occupied for a bit. I know our old dog loved it and she would spend ages playing with it.
