Friends have once again been invited to Pembrey Burns Pet Nutrition host this fabulous event every year, and it's a veritable Dog Fest! From the Burns website... Come and join us at Pembrey Country Park (West Wales) for a day of fun and games for dogs and their families.
Includes: Fun Dog Show, Sled Dogs, Main Arena Displays, Search & Rescue Dogs, Charity, Trade and Breed Stalls, Have A Go at Agility, Fastest Recall, Free Microchipping with Dogs Trust and Tawe Vets plus much more...Campers are welcome, and some of our members take the opportunity to spend a few nights under canvas and a few days taking advantage of the breathtaking scenery and amazing dog walks in the country park and along the beautiful beaches. Friends will have having a stall, and we will also be running the Best Sausage Catcher Competition. We would be grateful for as many hands on the day as possible as this gives everyone a chance to enjoy the proceedings! Bernard is organising the camping for us once again - thank you Bern - so if you intend spending a night or two under the stars, Bern is the man to speak to ;D Please come and join us

Susie, just a thought--- Is the netting really necessary ? would marking the ground with that spray be good enough?
I have not been involved in a busy sausage catching event so not really in a position to give opinion but thought it would be less to transport

It is Bern. Throwing sausages around with loads of dogs in the vicinity, it's asking for trouble if the area isn't secure. We need to do a risk assessment, and it just wouldn't pass muster without netting.
I'm wondering about hiring a van for the weekend, we could get everything into a van, including Kathleen ;D

A van sounds like a grand idea!
What time can we arrive from if we travel down on the day?

Just to say that I will have packed up all the Pembrey crafty items plus other merchandise which has been resting in the Wentloog store. It will all be in boxes, clearly marked with the prices etc and be inside the entrance of the Store to be picked up - so you don't have to go hunting around. ;D

Is there a plan for Sunday?
What time are we arriving to set up? Do we need to transport anything? Do sausages need cooking?

Just a reminder to the Sunday team-- If you arrive before the man is ont he gate you will need 2 X £1 coins to lift the barrier. If the man is there it will be £5 Also to Baglady -- do you have the passes for what ever vehicles are going behind the pitch? PS Us hardy campers are heading off on Thursday-- I hope the temperature does not drop any lower.

No I don't Bern. I'll message Rowan now. I'm guessing she will be giving them to the first camping crew, ie you!
I'll let you know.
How many passes do we need? I'll be taking the van......
