Luke was there as well. I must add to what Lynne has said above. The dogs drew so mutch attention today and were fantastic ambassadors for CDH. They were great with adults and children, taking all the petting and giving the fuss back. I think it showed that stray and unwanted dogs are not damaged goods ( as some people think). They are just lovely dogs who find by no fault of their own that they have fallen on hard times and desperately need a new loving home.
Lets hope that what people saw encourages more to adopt.

A lovely couple looked through the Rehoming book at PAH with you guys today, saw Judy and headed right over to CDH to meet her. Obviously they loved her, who wouldn't, put in an application form for her and are coming back with their resident dogs for intros tomorrow. Everything crossed it all goes well as I reckon Judy would be ever so spoilt with them Good work Team Meet & Greet today ;D x

Had a fab time there with Enzo and Mia! I was really pleased people were paying such an interest in them - i hope henry and judy get there forever homes! I saw both couples and they seemed really taken with them - fingers crossed! I can't wait for the day when i don't have to rent a place and can take all the dogs home!

also - forgot to say! - there was a lady who was very interested in Mia - we had a chat and she said she has a 3yr old grandchild who visits daily - told her about the garden and if she wanted she could come and do an introduction to see how they get on - luckily there were a couple of kids fussing Mia at the time so she saw how unphased she was. Mia is such a gorgeous dog, pretty much sat on my lap most of the time as she was a bit nervous but was amazing with everyone who came over for a cuddle.
Enzo also had some interest so here's hoping! I keep falling in love with every dog i walk! Had a fab time on the Ely trail this morning and he's such a character - had a water break and he was rolling around like a loon and then decided he wanted a cuddle and had me covered in mud! cheeky boy! ;D
