Alright I have counted and worn my fingers to the bone BUT first the thanks to ;- Steph, Andrew plus Alfi and Max. Lisa with Lou and Roly, our new recruit Janine who phoned her hubby to bring their really cute little dog I can't remember his name , Kath and Buster, Rachel with Sarah and Becky brought down Tiny Tim. I hope I haven't missed any one. Dogs and humans were fantastic as always. I am going to keep you waiting a little longer and I think it needs saying --- I arrived on the street set up and stood there with my placard and bucket alone for 20 mins and not a single penny went in the bucket, but asoon as the first dog turned up the money started coming in and never stopped. As I said before-- ITS THE DOGS THAT DO IT Roll of Drums please the figure subject to Treasurers check Is £830.50 this will be boosted tomorrow when I put the loose change into the ASDA coin machine ( I hope that is ok with everyone )

Fantastic!! I will count the loose change if you want, save giving the machine a cut. So happy, never thought we could collect that much. Perhaps we should save the Santa dog suits, rather than sell them. The public go wild for a dressed up dog So happy

Wow! Brilliant! So many kind and generous people. Lots of £10 notes were put in the collection tubs. Cardiff dog lovers, you rock!

Oh my days - what an absolutely AMAZING amount After a fairly tough week, its great to know how much support there is out there for Friends but more importantly how much love for our dogs there is! My favourite thing about the street collections is people telling you about their own dogs that they adopted from CDH Some of them from a week or so ago, some months ago and so so many from years ago! This is why we stand around shaking our tins! Bern, these street collections are absolutely lucrative, you must never give up organising them ;D There's not many jobs out there that pay £830 for 4 hours work (and enjoyable work at that!) Well done team xxx
