Charley was diagnosed by Summerhill vets as having a problem with his left hind crutiate, and they have recommended surgery. Labradors in Need, a breed rescue, very kindly offered to take Charley into their care and are arranging for x-rays and surgery, hopefully next week. Michelle from Labradors in Need picked up Charley on Wednesday, and he is settling nicely into his foster home Labs in Need have offered Charley a lifeline, it was extremely unlikely that he was going to get a rehoming offer direct from CDH, and we are so very grateful to Michelle and her team for taking Charley into their care. Michelle has promised to keep us updated, and we are all sending lots of speedy get well soon thoughts for the lovely Charley

I am so pleased that Michelle has taken Charley under their wing at Labradors In Need. He is such a beauty, so like my choccy boy Casper. He also had surgery on both his knees for luxating patellas in both, plus he has to have both hips replaced in the near future. I hope all goes well on Monday for him. Will be keeping everything crossed. I promote and crosspost for dogs in need around the world and it is so lovely to see when so many people care about them and this is so clear with CDH and Labradors In Need. Good luck Charley boy! ❤️

He was living with Lovely lady and her choc lab. He really couldent have found a better home. Due to his untreatable ligament problems he came into CDH with. he was struggling to get up and he developed a heartbeat 200 per minute. He wasn't eating or drinking. His new mom was syringeing water into his mouth. The vet said it was best that he was PTS as he was suffering. His new mom showed him the love and gave him the life he deserved in his last few months. Run free Charley boy
