Meet Ted This handsome lad has just arrived at CDH and was a true gent when he came out to play today. He immediately discovered the treats and was very focused on them, sitting immediately when asked and taking treats gently. This guys is like a big teddy bear, he has a lovely thick coat which just makes you want to give him a big cuddle. He seems to be quite a softie and enjoyed having a scratch and fuss. I think this guy is going to be quite popular with some of our walkers and we are looking forward to seeing some updates on him out on walks soon. Ted will be available for rehoming from 4th December, so if you'd like to meet her please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm

He's a big soft lad! Wouldn't mind taking him for a stroll on Sunday morning during WWW.

I don't think Ted will be able to come out on Sunday, we'll need to check when he had his first vac.

Walked this lovely boy yesterday. He was very well behaved and walked very well on the lead. He seemed to like to be in front, but didn't pull at all. He enjoyed some good sniffs and took his treats very gently. He indeed liked a fuss though he was bit more focused on walking which is understandable as it was his wakey wakey walk. We passed two other dogs on the lane when we came back but Ted wasn't too bothered with them, only looking and slightly moving in their direction. No barking or anything else though. Surprised he hasn't had more attention from the walkers so far. He definately is an absolute treat to walk

I took teddy bear for walk today, and his name really suits him! He was really gentle and plodded along next to me happy for a cuddle or two. He wasn't interested in other dogs he actually moved out of the way when we passed a couple! Ted is the first big dog I've walked as I'm normally quite nervous with bigger one but he was an absolute gent ;D Attachments:
