Friends have submitted an application for a grant to provide a 'Home from Home' at CDH. It will be somewhere the dogs can have some respite from the kennels, where rehomers and volunteers can spend time with them, and where we can help assess the dogs more thoroughly in a 'Home environment'. Please could you take a few seconds to click the link and vote for us. Vote HerePlease watch the video and let us know what you think of the idea too! If someone could let us know whether the linky works, and whether the voting process is straightforward I'd be really grateful. I voted when I put the video up. We're massively grateful to Paul for putting this video together for us - fab job Paul

I think this is a fantastic idea for the dogs. However, I clicked the link and it went straight to Facebook of which I am not a member.

As Ruby Tuesday just said, the link goes to facebook. I'm not on facebook either. Is there any other way non facebook users can vote?
P.S. The "Home from Home" sounds like a fantastic idea!

Thanks guys! I'm off to find out Jenna, is there a better linky I could use then? Should I go to the main page, ask peeps to like it, and ask them to find the voting page themselves? If you follow the link do you have to navigate away from it to like their page? Can you just use the 'like' button on the video?

Brilliant idea and lovely video. I think having an 'off lead' space is so important when re-homing dogs, especially when you've got kids. The garden made all the difference to us and this would be even better. You have a responsibility to the dog and to your family to make sure you're as well informed as possible before taking a dog home and sometimes it's really difficult to see a dog's personality (dogality?) when they're in kennels. I'm sure this will reduce returns to the home and be so much nicer for the dogs. Our poundie was stressed to the eyeballs in kennels - he'd have loved a quiet space to chill out.
Hope it works!

If you haven't had a peep at our Vid Bid for a 'Home from Home' for our beloved pooches, please have a look! And if you like what you see could you 'like' their page and click the Vote button for Friends? It really takes less than a few seconds if you are logged into Facebook. Can you really resist this cute beg? Click on the pic to take you to their page V
