Friends are holding our Last Sunday of the Month at the Home on July 27th from 11am till 2pm and we would love y'all to join us!

Our 'Most Wanted' this month are...

Kong Fillers - Value pate is the dogs' favourite comestible!
Foreign Currency - we can turn your coins into cash for the Kennel Fund!
Nail Polish - One of our vols is organising a Nail Bar at our show, and would be grateful for supplies

Please note - we are up to our proverbials with bric a brac atm! Good quality clothing is always very welcome, and if anyone has anything lovely for the raffle (all proceeds are going to Kim's Home) we'd be thrilled to rehome these, but we don't need any booty items this month.

As it's just one week before our Summer Show we thought it would be a good opportunity for everyone involved to meet up and finalise arrangements. We thought it would be nice to have a Bacon Butty Bar, and our trusted urn will be on the bubble, so whether you are a newbie volunteer or an old hand, we'd love you to join us!

And if anyone wants to share their Butty with a four legged Buddy, we'll be walking the dogs in the afternoon

Have just sent approx 11kg foreign currency coins off, and the jars are now empty, please dig out those old purses, pots whatever you put the remainders from your hols in coins, paper old or new all excepted for the kennel fund and please bring along to Last Sunday July 27th. Thank you

Sounds good I'll be there. Im New to all this so will be good to meet you all and see what goes on and what you need doing. Due to work commitments etc I haven't been down to walk for a while, but things will be easier in next couple of weeks so would love it if you'd have me back. Do I need to re-register?

induction starts at 10 o'clock, we'll be walking the dogs at 11, then it's back to CDH for a lunchtime BBQ

We'll be joined by some our of new Friends from Sainsbury's Cardiff, who took their first tenderfoot dog-walking steps this week, to celebrate our Charity Partnership, so please come along, everyone welcome!

Folks, you all played a blinder on Sunday!!! It was such a lovely atmosphere at the Home, there was a proper buzz about the place. It was great to see so many new faces and of course all the familiar ones! The dogs had a blast and properly walked their paws off  I think they would have all slept like logs Sunday night! I was really proud to be part of Friends x

As for the pooches sleeping I went around before I left late on Sun afternoon and I've never known it so quiet!?!? Some couldn't even be bothered to get out of bed to say hello as they normally do!!!!! Fab reason to be ignored ;-)))
