I can't believe this - I only watched Kitty's video the other day and texted my friends to go down and see her. Kitty, I am so so sorry - I should have been quicker off the mark. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers beautiful girl.
I didn't have the privilege of spending time with Kitty - I wish I had - but my heart goes out to Charli and all the other walkers who made her realise she mattered a great deal
Like the other posts on this forum, I think Rob is a hero. For that little girl to know she was loved as she went to Rainbow Bridge is very special
Kitty's story keeps playing around my head and one thing is for certain, she was a bundle of joy when she was on form. I had a brief play with her in the vets room last Sunday and she was in her element. People broke this poor little dog, and THAT is what's most heartbreaking. To have demons so big that you cannot function is a horrible place to be.
Mostly though I respect people like Rob and Charli and the other walkers that made her brief moments of joy so lovely. It's all pretty corny to be honest, but at least it wasn't an entirely wasted life. CDH vols that see this so often, I am in awe of you, you guys make other peoples mess ups pale in comparison to your wonderfulness.
I'll miss you shouting at me through your kennel, Kitty! And that boomer ball is always yours
So sorry to read this. Such a sad, sad outcome. This poor girl must have been so very distressed to have lost her babies and goodness knows what else she had endured. I always say the eyes tell a thousand tales, and this was the case with Kitty bless her. CDH and all the Vol's try so very, very hard to help all the dogs, and give dogs like Kitty the best possible chance, and I know you will all be hurting x
