Please welcome Tilly! FB'ers may recognise Tilly, she was found in Cardiff with electrical flex around her neck, and luckily for her she was brought into CDH by her finders. She was very traumatised when she arrived, very frightened, and has taken a few days to settle. Tilly has been booked in as a 'toy cross breed'. As she is a stray we obviously have no idea who the mammy or daddy is - any ideas anyone? She has the softest coat, feathery ears and legs, and a rather luxurious tail, which she keeps tucked when she's anxious Tilly appears to have been fairly well cared for, but she is not microchipped, and no-one has come forward to claim her. Tilly is slowly learning to trust new people. Chicken helps eh Tilly? Jen has spent lots of 'getting to know you' time with Tilly, and although she is still a little wary of strangers, Tilly was more than happy to lap up some lap time with Jen today If Tilly's owners don't come forward, she will be available for rehoming from 21st May. Unsurprisingly, Tilly already has some rehoming offers lined up, so please contact the home before visiting to find out whether the staff are still taking applications for her. If you'd like more information on Tilly, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm

Give the home a ring on 02920 711243 for the latest information, she did have full applications at one point, but sometimes people drop out and they become available again.

Took this little stunner out for a stroll today after submitting my application to adopt her, she's absolutely gorgeous! Completely fell in love with her. Got all my fingers and toes crossed now in hope that I get chosen to give her a loving home! ?

Little Tilly had more home offers than most, and although a rehomer was approved for her, the rehoming offer fell through at the last minute. It happens...... But it's an ill wind that blows nobody any good.... the staff took additional applications for her yesterday, and it looks like Tilly has found the home she truly deserves! We couldn't be happier for Tilly! Have a wonderful life Tilly! You are going to be loved to bits!

Hi everyone, thought i'd post an update! Nearly 3 years on! Her name is now Dolly and she is absolutely stunning! She is full of character and has a wicked personality! It took a while for her to settle in with us but now she has the best life ever! We've found out that she's allergic to grains, so she requires a special diet! Which means that she cant eat her favourite food - chicken! She has the best relationship with her little brother - Dexter who is also a rescue dog! those pair are always up to mischief and playing. It took Dolly around a year and a half to actually play with toys; she didn't know how to play, which was sad! She is such a little diva but very intelligent, she has learnt a lot of new tricks! It would be lovely to know a little bit more information about Dolly, let me know in the comments below! Thanks all! Love Dolly & Lauren xxx
