Had the pleasure of the gorgeous Muffin today, such a loving and clever girl, loved how clever Muffin was getting into her stocking. Muffin isn't keen on other dogs or cats but soon as she passes them she is fine. Nothing would make me happy than Muffin going to her forever sofa especially because she is the longest resident, please don't over look her, she is a lovable doggie needing a forever family.

Oh little Muffin. Another week and still no one who can offer you a home is seeing what I see. You are barky on walks, yet you are so focused when asked to sit that if someone had you as their own they could really work with you to iron out the creases! After a fairly settled walk we headed to Muffin's favourite place, the garden. Where we got muddy, ran around like fools and she played with a huge tennis ball on a string. We had a good ten minutes on our own before we were joined in the garden by someone doing some measuring in there. This man was a stranger to Muffin, but she greeted him with a wagging tail and after realising that he was boring and I was the ones throwing the toys - she was all mine again . We kept to the side of the garden and she was so intently focussed on our game that she didn't bother him again. JUST LOOK AT HER. Once we were suitably muddy and Muffin had exhausted all the toys that were already out in the garden, she did was she loves to do and launches herself in the toy box... I'm sure you will agree that is one happy face! See that big huge kong by her head? Well, I can assure you I had a right giggle watching her dig her nose underneath and push it up trying to get it out. It took her a good few attempts before she realised that my hands were going to do a quicker job that her nose and she backed away so I could get it out for her and she waited very patiently for me to put it down for her. In that moment I was reminded that she was once someones pet. It was bittersweet. Muffin knew how to work and kong and was just sat there pawing at it trying to get whatever was inside - out, all whilst I was sat on the sofa. All we needed was a nice fire and we would be set! Making the most of the dry weather, we sat for a while on the tunnel, she chewed up another kong and I just sat watching and talking to her. It's likely when you walk her she will bark at other dogs, she will try and chase cats but she is so focused and clever - a training class would be right up her street. She's wicked and has a fab personality. Please someone take the time to see past that and really find the amazing companion she is.

Walked Muffin today and she was amazing.. She pretty much ignored two dogs and only barked a couple of times at another. She loves puddles and a cheeky back rub in grass. She is such a happy little dog and it makes me so sad to think she hasn't got a family yet. Muffin happily trots along tail wagging investigating everything and she has the softest coat out of all the dogs I've met. C'mon rehomers!!!!

Bump up for the fabulous Muffin. Took her out today, we had the head first's into the grass, the bum wiggles, the little skips on the spot that she does, but something that she did not do quite so often, was bark at other dogs! I passed her with Tigger a few hours before I took her out, and she did not bark at him, and when I was out with her that afternoon, she only barked once at Lady, but only for a short time, amazing as Lady was also reacting to Muffin. She is really coming on in leaps and bounds, it's really amazing to walk pass another dog and for Muffin not to react. Come on rehomers, don't ignore or walk passed Muffin, give her a chance, you might just make a friend for life xxxx

Why is she still at the home? I don't know she's my absolute favourite woof! She's so affectionate, people are probably put off by the barking at other dogs.. A cat free home and she will be blooming golden <3

I had a lovely peaceful walk with Miss Muffin early yesterday, she had a great time rolling around on her back in the grass. Also with words of encouragement & few distraction tactics she happily walked passed at least four dogs without a sound and waited quietly in a busy CDH car park before returning to her kennel. Bx

Love that black muzzle. And she's a lovely size. Cannot understand why she has been overlooked for so long!

C'mon people. She has been here since August - what a crazy long time to spend without a family. Someone somewhere must have a space on their sofa for the fluffy Muffin?
