What a gorgeous boy Cliffy byro is. You can add these things to his c.v 1.painting skirting boards "What do you mean...have I been by the fresh paint" 2. Joint co pilot with out Elsie Clifford "it's definitely left" Elsie "no it's right " Both "we're dogs we don't know where we're going". He's such a lovely boy, has impeccable manners and is just an all round beautiful boy. I'll keep saying it please go and say hi, he's an oldie but a goodie. Love ya mate xx

Had the pleasure of walk gentleman Clifford, he is such a gent to walk, loves a explore and shows you the way he wants to walk. Nothing bothers him at all, he loves to ask for treats on walks too, just like Bruno used to. Hope Clifford gets is forever sofa before Christmas as the kennels are not good for the older dogs. Good luck Clifford. Nothing will make me happier than seeing you post on the rehoming section.

You're right there it would be great if he could get a home before Xmas. Cliffy has respite at the hotel du dogs most weeks and as you well know he's such a well mannered gentleman. He loves his walks and his food and loves a snooze. Every dog we pass he greets like an old friend , he's just an all round good old boy. If anyone has any questions on this little man I'd happily answer them. Xx

I popped to Pete's (Rotterdam82) this afternoon to pick up some raffle prizes and I was greeted at the door by the most handsome, affectionate, well mannered boy - no, not Pete but Clifford Oh my word, what a greeting he gave me!! I have only ever met Cliffy in kennels, I have never walked him, but he greeted me better than my own dogs when I get home from work!! I was at Petes for about 20 minutes and apart from getting out of his bed every now and then to give me even more fuss, he was as quiet as a mouse and was just taking it easy in his bed. He really is a wonderful boy. If you are looking for a calm, polite, easy going fella who is happy in his own fur, look no further! Cliffy may be a bit grey around the muzzle but he has plenty of get up and go, and will make the most fantastic addition to any family. Come on folks, give him a chance! x

Well said Bec. People must get fed up of me waxing lyrical about Cliffy Byro. He is genuinely zero bother. He has respite with us whenever he wants it. Who would he suit everyone that's who. Well now he has Becs seal of approval what more are you looking for xx

This is the happiest news I've read all Christmas Clifford captured my heart with his lovely grey muzzle, and I'm so moved that he found his own sofa right before Christmas Day. Good luck Clifford, and thanks to all staff and vols at CDH for caring for this dear old gent until that happened.

We have just heard from Clifford's family that he has left them for Rainbow Bridge, after the most wonderful year with them. Clifford died with dignity, loved, and treasured. He was such a lucky guy to find love in his dotage. His family sent us this message.... Yea Mr Clifford was very special. Wouldn't have done it any differently. He make such a positive difference in our lives and we will never forget him. Yea it is so heart breaking to think that they where some ones best friend and have been dumped. Thank you for letting us adopt him. He truly was our best friend.Rest easy Clifford

Cliffy Byro I cried tears of joy when you were rehomed, and now I'm crying for a different reason. You were one of the most loveliest, cheekiest, funniest dogs I had the pleasure to look after,i loved every minute of it. You've gone down in history as the only dog to pinch a ball out of our Elsie's mouth and get away with it. To your family I wish you only love thank you for giving him a lovely year he was lucky to have you. I've only got happy thoughts because you were so funny. Sleep easy lionheart love you. Peace and love Pete,Helen, and Elsie xx
