Meet our tiny little Prince! Prince has been signed over to CDH, so we have a little bit of history on him. He has lived fine with other dogs and is good with dogs he meets out on walks. He has previously lived with children, but finds very young children overwhelming, so would prefer to live in an adult only home or with older children. Prince is a little bit unsure of his new surroundings and was not a fan of the weather today when we took him out for a toilet break....Aunty Becky can we go inside please! Prince enjoyed having a sniff around the vet room, but didn't seem confident enough to play with the toys on offer. we are hoping he will come out of his shell once he has spent some time with our wonderful volunteers and we will see a more playful side to this boy. He took some comfort for gentle strokes from Becky, and was happy to just chill next to her. When we brought some tasty trats we had his full attention, but Price doesn't seem to know any basic commands, so just used his puppy dog eyes to get the treats Prince is available for rehoming on 5th February, but staff will be taking applications on him now. If you have any questions on Prince or would like more information on him please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. Mon/Thurs till 6pm For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click on the link below: Rehoming Process

I took Prince out today and we walked along the trail towards Leckwith. He was good on the lead, just seemed a little unsure about what he is supposed to do, apart from walk. He did a bit of sniffing after a while, though, and walked nicely on the pavement, not worried about traffic noise. He said hello to every dog, but ignored cyclists and people, and was up for lots of pats and encouragement. We had a nice time.

Took out the lovely Prince today, now, I love all the dogs, but don't normally go for the little ones. My son wanted to take Prince out, so off we went Well, I fell in love! What a sweet, affectionate, loving little dog. We got half way down the lane, and he decided he wanted some love, he just wanted to be close, and the look on his little face melted my heart He does walk well on the lead, is not bothered by noise or traffic, and is very happy for a cuddle He also does the famous ' Have a wee with your bum in the air while walking on your front legs! ' This little dog had us in stitches! Prince would make an amazing companion for someone, he craves human company and is so sweet and gentle. Good luck lovely boy xxx
