I would urge everyone to write to their Assembly Member. If you're not sure who s/he is - you can find out HEREIt's absolutely shameful that Wales is the puppy farming centre of the UK. We are all entitled to make our views clear to our Assembly Members, they are our servants, not our masters! C.A.R.I.A.D has done an immense amount of work to highlight the desperate plight of factory farmed dogs, they live desperately miserable lives and die unforgivably miserable deaths, just to provide an income for puppy farmers. If you care about the welfare of these dogs, please show your support for C.A.R.I.A.D.. It's very easy to press a 'like' button, but if you really want to help facilitate change let your A.M. know how important the welfare of breeding dogs is to you. The dogs don't have a voice, but YOU do! Please use it on their behalf. xx

Today the Welsh Assembly Gov voted to accept and introduce the new dog breeding regulations. they will become effective Apr 2015. The voting was For 46 against 5.
Of the AM's that spoke at the Plenary session most felt that the regulations did not go far enough but were a start in making the lives of these poor breeding dogs better. Even two AM's who were going to vote against were voting against only because they felt the regs were too weak.
