Ooooooh! We have a new Section on our Forum! 
Our supporters and volunteers will know that Friends of the Dogs (Wales) has built relationships with many local and national rescues, sanctuaries and rehoming centres.
Some have given sanctuary and a second chance to CDH dogs, and CDH has taken in dogs from other rescues/rehoming centres if they have had limited rehoming opportunities where they were.
We are fortunate also for the generosity of people in Cardiff, who keep our precious dogs supplied with toys, treats, food, blankies, towels, leads, collars etc, and we have always ensured that if we are aware of other organisations whose need is greater than ours, we always donate onwards.
We know that some of our potential rehomers have a fairly clear idea of the sort of dog they would like to adopt, and due to the way the rehoming process works, they are sometimes (understandably) disappointed if their chosen dog is offered to someone else.....
So we are now also featuring Dogs for Adoption from other rescues/rehoming centres, and in particular those in our neighbouring authority, NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME.
Please note - we will ensure that the contact details for each rehomer centre is stated clearly on the individual dog's thread, and as the dogs are not in our care we will be unable to respond to specific queries. These should be directed to the rehoming centre.
If any rescues/rehoming centres would like to feature their dogs on this page, please pm us for details.
