UPDATE - Flo has been rehomed, but little Pippa is still waiting to meet her forever peeps. Shhhhhh.... *whispers* Please welcome Pippa Terrier and Flo Chi Pippa Flo These two little darlings have only just arrived at the Home, and they are still a little anxious at their recent change of circumstances. They have befriended Rob, staff member at CDH, but are still a little wary of strangers - and cameras - so we respected their personal space as much as possible, and stole a few pics from a distance... Neither Pippa nor Flo are microchipped, and no-one has reported them missing, so we really don't know much about them yet. Flo seems marginally more confident of the two... But Pippa is still very anxious. Her coat is a little matted, it doesn't seem likely she has seen a bath or a brush any time recently. Hopefully as they settle into the routine at the Home and get to know our lovely Pilgrims, we'll be able to get some waggy-tailed close-ups of these two darlings! It's early days to decide whether Pippa and Flo should be rehomed together or separately. They are sharing a kennel at the moment, and the staff will continue to assess them over the coming days. If no-one comes forward to claim Pippa and Flo, they will be available for rehoming from 13th April. If you would like more information, or would like to meet them, please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm. For more information about the rehoming process at Cardiff Dogs Home, please click here

These too sweet hearts are amazing. They have such a strong bound. Both have lovely temperaments and need a home together. They love to be close to you and are very much lap lovers. They are a pleasure to walk and do not seemed by anything they pass.

I'd love to home these two but we're about to move house & I don't think it'd be fair to disrupt them that much.Plus, not sure if the acre of garden we're getting is 100% dog proof.(yet!!!!)

These two are quite the pair!! I walked these lovely little ones the other day and they were amazing! They were very happy to trot along side me and weren't bothered by any other dogs that went past!
These two do what they're told (especially for a treat😂!!) and love to sit with you and have a sniff round! What wonderful dogs!! I really hope they get to go to their forever home soon! They deserve the best one the home can find!
Pippa loved to sit down next to you or on your lap for some cuddles and lived the attention! These two would be wonderful companions to anyone looking for a dog! 🐶❤️

On Saturday we got to walk these gorgeous girls, what a pair they are....
It's hard to believe that the above description of these girls is the same two girls, obviously the amazing work that everybody at CDH has done with this pair has worked wonders! They have really come out of their shell and are really affectionate girls, they soon learned how to get us to hand over the treats! lol
It didn't take a lot of convincing with those cute faces...
And we even got a chance to watch the swans..
I get a feeling Pippa prefers the men, she couldn't wait to jump on my lap, I think she could've perched herself there all day!
I have to say we absolutely love this pair, Pippa seems to be the laid back out of the two and Flo is bouncy and full of beans! I really hope this pair get a well deserved forever sofa soon! Good luck girlies!

I can walk two little dogs at the same time, I Said!!!! Famous last words! I spent the whole way up the lane in a tangled mess of leads!!!! Both these lovely girls were very patient with me until I could sort myself out and work out how to hold two leads at once without falling over!!!!! Flo, keeps checking with you whilst Pippa is way out ahead and raring to go. Both give the best cwtches with Pip quick to get her nose into the treat bag, giving little baby kisses as well. Flo isnt quite as forward but still loves a fuss! Flo is a bit noisy passing other dogs but hey, who cares when she is so cute! A lively pair of girlies who I look forward to walking again until they find their forever home x

Had my first encounter with these 2 lovely ladies today. How could I not have met them before? They are a delightful duo and came bounding out for our walk. Flo has a wonderful smiley face and is full of beans and Pippa was super friendly too. Seeing how shy they obviously were when they first arrived shows how far they've come as both little ladies showed no signs of nervousness. Indeed it was quite the opposite and we really enjoyed our time together. I can't believe they haven't been snapped up as they would make the most wonderful companions. I will definitely be looking to walk them again.

I hadn't read this bio before going down to CDH and picked to walk these little ladies due to their size. Well if I could choose one word to describe them it certainly wouldn't be shy. Flo and Pippa are friendly, energetic and are clearly a credit to the hard work of the staff here. Pippa is also much slimmer than she looks in her initial pics.
They both walked beautifully on the lead although I must say, I was holding the material version of spaghetti junction by the time I reached the ind. estate. But don't let that put you off, they both wait very patiently as you detangle the leads - largely due to the fact that I think they think every stop is treat time - but hey patience is patience and should be rewarded. They do get excited by other dogs and birds and basically any other living thing, but they both seemed lovely natured even if we didn't get close enough to put that to the test today.
If you are looking for two beautiful girls then I would definitely consider this lovely pair!
