Hi everyone I'm Yasmine the Queen of Sass 💖💖💖 Yes, I'm still here at the Hotel. Myself and Ceaser have been here the longest now. I've been here an entire year 💔💔💔 Today I had a pamper day and had a nice wash and my nails done and now I smell even more devine just like a real QUEEN 💅💅💅 I know there is still hope for me but I'm still getting over looked and no one knows why. I'm a firm favourite with the staff and volunteers, no one seems to be interested.... even though I am the Queen of Sass🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I love people and I love attention, all I want is to curl up on a sofa and sleep till my hearts content. However, I also love food so keep that food locked away or I will find it, and eat it. I may have high standards but when it comes to food it's fair game and I will win 😂😂😂😂 Sorry not sorry 🙈🙈🙈 So it's safe to say I love treats hehehe. I'm not a fan of other dogs so I need to be the only dog allowed please, Queen of Sass would also like some servants to wait on me hand and foot 🙈🙈🙈 Hehehe only joking, but I would love my furever home. I'm very loving and would do anything for any of my humans 💖💖💖💖💖💖 lots of love from Sassy Pants Yasmin 😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚

I'd read all about Yasmine and met her for the first time a few days ago. The most affectionate dog ever! She didn't want to walk, but we had a nice wander round the grounds which included plenty of cuddles. Like all the other volunteers, I've fallen completely in love with her. If the right someone could work with her they'd be rewarded with the most fantastic companion.

BEST. NEWS. EVER. Yasmin, our longest termer by a wide mile at Cardiff Dogs Home has been taken into the tender care of our wonderful friends at Dogs Trust! Despite being in Cardiff Dogs Home for over a year, and having had over 30,000 view on her rehoming thread, Yasmin had no rehoming interest at all, and we are thrilled that she has been given this amazing lifeline by our Friends at Dogs Trust. Yasmin has been suffering from sore and patchy fur for a while, so they booked her straight in to see their vet for skin scrapes as and they will be concentrating on getting her comfy over the coming days. AND the good news doesn't stop there! Our bestest big girl at Newport City Dogs Home has been offered a place at the Dogs Trust Loughborough Centre! Rosa has left the building!!!! Being 'found in the pound' can be tough for any dog, but for long termers like Yasmin and Rosa it can be utterly soul-destroying to be overlooked day after day, week after week, and month after month..... By taking in Yasmin and Rosa the Dogs Trust have not only given our beautiful girls new opportunities to find their forever homes, but they have freed up much needed kennel spaces for incoming strays who desperately need those kennels. This post would not be complete without a special thank you to our amazing volunteers who have taken Yasmin and Rosa into their hearts, and who helped make their time in kennels more bearable. Greta, Christine, and Sian were especially fond of Yasmin, and Rosa's life wouldn't have been the same without Tom and Neil, volunteers at Newport and two of Rosa's best friends in the whole world. Happy Days!!!!!!

Yasmine is living happily with her wonderful forever family! They posted a comment on facebook in reply to Yasmine's original 'heading to the DT' post, with some lovely photos of Yas (renamed Buttons by DT, now known as Orca) relaxing and playing and being loved. She's finally living the life she's always deserved
