Ooooooooh, Hazard warning - Adorable Duke pictures coming up!!!! Duke definitely has the 'cute' factor Duke is a lakeland terrier, and is just two years old. Duke is a very agile little dog, he was clearly bred for working, but we're guessing that he was probably a bit rubbish at it, as we know he has been passed from pillar to post. We have no idea how many times he has changed hands in his young life. We believe he only spent a few days with his last owners, but Duke doesn't seem to mind one little bit! He doesn't have a care in the world! He's a scrummy little fella, and was as friendly and affectionate as you like when we brought him out for his pictures! Ahhhh, here's an available lap, don't mind me Missus! Although he likes a cuddle, Duke is most definitely not a lap dog, and wouldn't be good company if he didn't get plenty of exercise and stimulation! He's clearly a clever little lad, and although he doesn't seem to know even basic commands, he is very attentive and we're sure he would love to learn! Hey Duke! There's a squeaky toy by your paw!!!! A What? A Toy? And it Squeaks? Are you serious? ? Lemmee ave it! Grrrrrrr - it's still squeaking!!!! He's just a little guy who wants to have fun! If you'd like to meet Duke, better make it quick! We don't think he'll be hanging around for long! Please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

Almost seven months after coming home to us, I thought I'd post about how Duke - now Bosco! - is doing. He settled straight away, loves cuddling, food and of course murdering various cuddly toys. His hair has grown, he's put on a littler bit of weight and he looks much healthier. Thank you so much to everyone at FOTD - especially Suze - for bringing Bosco to us!
