Please welcome our stunning new collie boy - Lance Lance is about a year old, and is a happy and smiley boy He hasn't had a great deal of training, but will do a nice sit, and is blessed with a natural collie cleverness that should make training fun and enjoyable! Lance has been with us for over a week, and he is available to rehoming immediately. Preference will be given to a collie experienced home, and/or someone who has previously attending agility training or similar. Lance is no couch potato and he will need more that a trot around the block now and then to keep him happy and stimulated. Lance loves toys - and thinks it's his job to retrieve anything that is thrown! He loves to be busy! Lance is alert and intelligent, and is in fabulous condition! If you'd like to know more or would like to meet Lance please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop up during opening hours. Between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

Lance is currently 'on loan' to a well-known organisation who train dogs and handlers for drug detection and sniffer work!
We'll be keeping an eye on his progress, and if he turns out to have a natural talent his handler will be adopting him.
If Lance doesn't make the grade as a sniffer dog he will in any event have had a wonderful few weeks learning all sorts of new skills. We're going to move Lance's rehoming thread for now.... watch this space for updates!

Lance finished his training a few weeks ago - passed with flying colours! He has been adopted by his trainer/handler and we have had updates to say how happy they are together!
