If Carling did staffies.............. Tikka has landed! She's a fabulous friendly, affectionate and fun-loving staffie girl! Coming to get ya! And she's pretty to boot! So much fun! Tikka has clearly been used for breeding, but she has retained her own inner puppy, and hasn't a care in the world! Child test - passed with flying colours! And gentle as a lamb taking treats.... If you have never met a staffie, if you have never considered rehoming a bull breed, come and meet Tikka. She is an ambassador for the breed, hasn't put a paw wrong since she arrived, great with other dogs, and her smile is infectious! We asked her for her best 'sombre' face but she couldn't hold it for a nanosecond.... Tikka is a staffie after all - staffies are supposed to have a wide-mile smile! And she has! If you'd like to meet Tikka, or any of the dogs for rehoming in Newport City Dogs Home, please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop up during opening hours. Between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

I'm amazed that the lovely, and very good-natured, Tikka, is still waiting for her forever home. Having walked her a number of times, she has only ever shown the very best qualities of a companion dog. Keep smiling, Tikka, your people must find you soon xxx

Hi Meredith. Without chip details, there is no way of knowing for sure. All that we can say is that this lovely, easy-going lady, is in her prime. Why not come along and meet her? You will not be disappointed. She is a favourite with all of us.

I walked Tikka again this morning, she was so in tune with me. Running when I ran, walked slow when I did and waited patiently if I had to pick up any mess. When we stopped and sat for a little she enjoyed some attention. I have got to say she is truly lovely.

Hi there! It would be great to know if Tikka has been cat tested as yet. We live a little distance from Newport so would like to come down if this could be done first.. Many thanks
