Well hellooooooo Cory This super-handsome pupster was found in the grounds of the Royal Gwent this week. It seems he may have been deliberately dumped as he was in a fenced area, but luckily for Cory there was a good samaritan nearby and Cory is now in the tender care of the staff at Newport City Dogs Home. Cory's finders popped into the Home yesterday to see how he was doing, as they were absolutely smitten with him, and who wouldn't be? If Cory's owners don't come forward he will be available for rehoming once he has served his 7 days and he has had his 'big boy's op' If you'd like to meet him pop up to Newport City Dogs Home soonest - we don't think this boy will be hanging around for long! Please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop up during opening hours. Between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

Hands up, I am not normally drawn to bull-breeds, usually feeling more drawn to spaniel/collie/lurcher types, but this boy is a stunner.
I walked him today and he was an absolute delight. Most of the time, my lead was slack, and he was quite content to amble about with me. When we saw other dogs, he was very interested but calm and controlled. He met a couple of other people and behaved impeccably. I am astounded that this handsome boy - in fabulous condition and completely unspoiled, has found himself in the dogs' home. If you are looking for a beautiful, good-natured companion, you need to come and meet this lad. I am sure that he will not be waiting long.

Absolutely no surprises here - Cory had more home offers than he could shake a stick at We're going to miss our favourite pupster - but we are absolutely thrilled for him!
