Please welcome the verrrrrrry lovely Zelda This little lady was brought into Newport City Dogs Home as a stray, and she has wasted no time at all in winning our hearts - she is simply adorable [img style="max-width:100%;" src=" We think Zelda is a plummer terrier cross. Plummmers are rather special little dogs, friendly and affectionate, good around children, brave, and they are very much 'outdoorsy' dogs who thrive on brisk walks and plenty of exercise. Zelda is no couch potato, and wouldn't suit a sedentary lifestyle. Zelda isn't microchipped, and no-one has come forward to report her missing, so we don't really know much about her, but what we do know ticks all our boxes! She is very friendly and affectionate with the staff and volunteers, and has fabulous doggy manners! Zelda, her newbie kennel pal Wilf, and Bas had a lovely terrier-trot around the field this afternoon with Miss Chris! Doing what terriers do! It's ALL about the sniffs! If you'd like to meet Zelda, or any of the dogs for rehoming in Newport City Dogs Home please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop up during opening hours. Between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.

Hi,
I currently have a 7month old staff who needs some company do you think that Zelda would fit in with another dog? Also is she good with children?

Hi Jemma, Zelda was happily running around the garden with other dogs and children at the weekend so I'd say it's definitely a possibility. She has had some applications so best to give the home a call tomorrow to check if they are accepting anymore and then you can pop down to meet this fab girl! ☺️ Hi, I currently have a 7month old staff who needs some company do you think that Zelda would fit in with another dog?
