Please welcome Beamer This fab little lady is no stranger to Newport City Dogs Home. She has been brought in as a stray previously, so it's likely her owners know she is at the Home, but we haven't heard yet whether they are coming to collect her. If Beamer's owners don't come forward for her she will be available for rehoming from 21st October. Beamer has only just arrived and hasn't seen the vets yet, and apart from some very sore and itchy patches on her back (which a little medication and tlc should sort out) she seems happy enough with her change in circumstances! We brought Beamer out for some 'howdee-doos' this afternoon, and we rather think she likes being a lap dog, as she tried out pretty much every lap available! I like this lap!I give you kisses Miss Molly! AND I like this lap!Yup! Kisses for lap cuddles - fair exchange is no robbery eh Beamer? Beamer and her kennel buddy Poppy definitely had the best seats in the house this afternoon Beamer is a delightful little lady, she is very friendly and affectionate, has been utterly charming around her other kennel mates, and really deserves a loving and safe home. If you'd like to meet her, or any of the dogs for rehoming in Newport City Dogs Home, please contact the staff on 01633 290902, or pop up during opening hours. Between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £100 - £200 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.
