Please welcome Priya This verrrrry pretty girl arrived at Newport City Dogs Home this week as a stray, so it's still possible that her owners might come to reclaim her, but if they don't she will be available for rehoming from 1st November. We don't think she'll be waiting long though - Priya is pretty perfect! Although she was a little anxious when she first arrived, Priya has settled into her new routine really quickly, and she loves her walkies with our Pilgrims! Priya already has two very promising applications. Although we update the dogs for rehoming weekly, casual visitors to the centres often get a chance to meet our new incomers before their rehoming profiles are put up on-line, so for anyone who wants to adopt it's always worth popping into Newport City Dogs Home and/or Cardiff Dogs Home on spec. We haven't seen Priya put a paw wrong since she arrived! She's funny, friendly and affectionate, she has passed a dog test with flying colours, and we threw a couple of our young Pilgrims into the mix today and Priya passed the child test too! If you'd like to meet her it's probably best to check with the Home first to see if they are still taking applications on Priya. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment, neutering and microchip.
