Please welcome Ivy This diminutive little lady was brought in as a stray, and although she is chipped the staff have been unable to contact her owner as the contact details are not up to date. No-one has reported her missing to the wardens, and if her owners don't come forward to claim her Ivy will be available for rehoming from 19th December. Ivy has a hoooooge personality for such a tiny little dog! She was very happy to make friends with the residents, and greeter boy Bas welcomed her to the Home in the way dogs do! There was definitely some kissing going on! The mistletoe is just out of sight above Ivy's head Ivy was keen to explore her new surroundings as we had put a few 'welcome' gifts on the sofa for her! Ooooh - are these all for meeeeeee? Ivy made no bones about what is on the top of her Christmas wish list! She went straight for the Burns! Ivy the intrepid: 'Come on Monkey - hand over the Burns'! Go on Ivy, you can take him It's not like Monkey put up much of a fight, but Ivy was rather pleased with herself all the same when she managed to wrestle the packet from him Ivy is an absolutely delightful little lady and if you'd like to meet her pop into Newport City Dogs Home soonest! We don't think she'll be waiting long! Please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME for more information. TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered, and subsidised vouchers are available for £35.
