Helllloooooo little lady! Ruby is a diminutive little terrier lady, and we had the pleasure of her company for just a few minutes this week. She is so popular with the walkers her little paws have hardly touched the ground since she arrived, but we managed to get a few quick pics of her between walks Ruby clearly hasn't had the best life, but she is determined to make up for lost time, and has loved making new friends since she arrived. She is fabulously sociable around people and all the dogs she has met at the Home, and we don't think she'll be waiting long for her forever peeps to find her. She does the cutest little meerkat 'beg' And has a constant look of surprise on her face Ruby really is an absolute delight! For more information, or if you'd like to meet her please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered, and subsidised vouchers are available for £35.

Ruby has left the building Forever homes come in all shapes and sizes, and Ruby's new forever sofa is on a boat! Albeit a rather big one! We are absolutely thrilled for her, she has a new little bro, Eddie plummer terrier, who was adopted from Cardiff Dogs Home a few years ago, and the world is now her oyster - literally! Ruby will be travelling the high seas all around the Med with her new peeps, and we're looking forward to her postcards! Have a wonderful life Ruby
