Keep Calm folks - it's just an absolutely ADORABLE pupster chewing a stick Say hello to Beau He's six months old, and has been signed over to the Home due to a very difficult change of circumstances. Beau was understandably a little anxious when he first arrived this morning But he's a happy little fella, and he seemed to know instinctively that he was amongst friends. It didn't take him long to find his inner puppy, which is still verrrrry much in evidence! He dived into the toy box and came out with a squeaky red slipper... Showed us his most polite 'sit' for treats... Made friends with the locals... Then after a hectic half hour of puppy madness, Beau retired to the hub for some gentle tummy tickles... Beau is a sensitive little guy, but he is verrrrry affectionate and friendly, well mannered for a youngster, and as bright as a button. We would love for Beau to find an active outdoorsy home. He is lacking a little in confidence, but he is still a baby. The staff are looking for a five star home for Beau, he could be a fab agility or flyball dog, the world is his oyster! If you'd like to meet him, please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME TEL 01633 290 902 for more information between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. And bring a twig Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment. It is a condition of the rehoming contract that all dogs are neutered, and subsidised vouchers are available for £35

Hi I’m interested in this stunning puppy. Question ? Would he be able to be trained for type 1 diabetes as I was thinking of my 10 year old.

Beau is only a puppy and we don't have the heart to tell him he is homeless. He thinks he has joined our Pilgrims as a volunteer dog walker...

What a beautiful boy and so responsible taking someone else for a walk. Hope he finds his forever home before too long.

Hi Hana Bean, If you give the home a call on 01633 290902 - opening hours above, you can have a chat about it with them to see if they thin he would be suitable. Good luck!

Hello Tray29, I believe that Beau has been rehomed. We were lucky to take Beau home. His tail has not stopped wagging, he is an absolute joy and it is like he has always been with us.
