Ooooh this face Please welcome Fraser Fraser was found wandering around near the transporter bridge with his bestie, Finley. They were taken to a local vets by a member of the public, and as it was out of hours they had to spend the night at the vets before coming to Newport City Dogs home. We managed to take a few pics as they were being booked in... Fraser needed no encouragement whatsoever to make friends with the natives! He snook his way straight onto Miss Lesley's lap... And went straight in for a kiss! No messing eh Fraser? Although he missed the mark first time around.... That's more like it! Fraser is a funny, cheeky little fella And we're really looking forward to getting to know him better over the next few days! It seems likely that Fraser and Finley have lived together, so the staff may consider rehoming them separately or as a pair. If you'd like to meet Fraser please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

When I first saw this dog on Facebook , I went to Summerhill vets to find out where he had be taken, the kennels they told me. After the snow I was at the kennels 8am on the Monday morning. That evening after phoning several times I went to see this dog. PERFECT. I was told what I had to do next and did it the very next day and took my husband to meet the dog. Again PERFECT. I ring Wednesday and Friday no answer and so I ring Saturday to be told wait until Wednesday , “The decision will be made then “ Perfect I thought. Then MONDAY ... sorry but your not suitable for that dog but you are suitable for one excatly the same. 🤔🤔🤔🤔 hmmmm don’t make sense to me....

I’m glad the Fraser has a new home, I really am but the process wasn’t fair. Fraser would have a perfectly good home here and would of be absolutely adored. I know that you all do fantastic work for our fury friends but I just don’t understand and the process, I still feel very hurt as I really fell in love with little Fraser.
