This rather unique little lady arrived at Newport City Dogs Home last week. She immediately won the hearts of our volunteers with her mile-wide smile and effervescent personality! Tink has been signed over to the Home by her owner. We're told she has had a few litters, but we have promised Tink that her days of bringing up puppies are behind her now. Tink - this is your time to be a puppy! Tink walks beautifully on lead, she doesn't seem in the least bit bothered about her recent change of circumstances, and has taken everything new in her stride! The staff will give preference to applicants who own or who have previously owned a brachycephalic (flat-faced) dog. Tink has shown perfect manners around other dogs she has met, but she hasn't yet encountered our resident kitty, so cat owners will need to arrange to bring any kitties or small furries to the Home to meet her. If you'd like to meet Tink please contact NEWPORT CITY DOGS HOME TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays. Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

First time dog walker, first time poster!
I took this little lady for my first walk as a dog walker this morning. I am definitely not an experienced dog walker, but this little lady was fantastic. She gave me a guided tour of her favorite spots around Newport dogs home. She was interested in other dogs but easily distracted and turned away with a little encouagement.
Tink loves a little fuss, no sooner had we left, than she rolled over for a belly rub.
Thank you Tink for a great first walk, you were great!

do you know if this lovely lady is still looking for a home, planning on ringing tommorow if she is x I know she has at least one application, but if you have breed experience (ie you own or have previously owned a bracychephalic dog) it's certainly worth giving the staff a call to see if they are still taking applications. If you can come armed with your vet reference that will ensure you are in the mix!

Tink has left the building She has found the most wonderful forever home, with six little two legged friends, and a mamma and pappa who absolutely adore her! Tinks is now one of the family - and that's what it's all about
