Phwoar - just PHWAOR
Please welcome handsome hunk Hank!
Hank is a 12 month old Huntaway/Collie cross, and he has been signed over to the Home due to a change of circumstances.
Hank doesn't really seem to mind his recent change of circumstances! He has already made friends with his kennel buddies, and of course Bas, our resident temperament tester, and Hank has passed the friendliness test with flying colours!
Old man Bas managed to outrun him though!
Hank's coat is in fabulous condition, and he has clearly been a much loved pet, but for a youngster he doesn't have a lot of muscle or tone, and he could certainly do with the equivalent of a few months in the gym
Hank has a fabulous temperament! He's friendly with humans and dogs alike, but due to his exuberance he would probably be best suited to a household with older children as he could easily knock over a toddler. Although Hank is a big boy, he's still just a puppy really, and he is as nosy and inquitisitve as any youngster should be!
He couldn't quite summon up the courage to actually go into the tunnel though
Hank deserves an active home, with loads of opportunities to make the most of the rest of his puppyhood and grow up into the fabulous dog he is destined to be. Hank would benefit from some basic training, and he still has the attention span of a gnat, so teaching him to focus and use his listening ears will be a priority!
We rather think this 'sit' was more luck than judgement
He hasn't put a paw wrong since he arrived, and we have had glowing references from his previous owner.
Whichever way you look at him...
Hank is an all round stunner!
If you'd like to meet Hank pop up to Newport City Dogs Home! TEL 01633 290 902 between 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 4pm, on weekdays, 11am - 1pm and 2pm - 3.30pm on Saturday. Please note: the home is CLOSED on Sundays.
