This squishy foldy-face belongs to Gigi who was brought in recently as a stray.



Her eyes and ears are shockingly sore, and Gigi is receiving meds to help calm down the inflammation. It's likely she will need surgery on her eyes and we are discussing this with the vets at the moment.



Gigi bears her woes with absolutely no complaints though, she is the most friendly, loving and affectionate girl you could wish to meet. Bas thinks so too, he likes to be seen stepping out with pretty girls!





Gigi will not be able to leave until she is completely well and the vets are happy for her to leave, but the staff are taking applications on her so if you'd like to meet her pop into Newport City Dogs Home soonest!

Rehoming fees are from £120 depending on the age/breed of the dog, and include 1st vaccination, flea & worm treatment and neutering.

GiGi is simply the most gentle natured sweet girl.

Since arriving at Newport I've had the pleasure of spending some time in her company. Her ears clearly are having an impact on her hearing at the moment but after a good clean and examination by the vets, which she tolerated extraordinarily well, she's now on some treatment which will hopefully help them settle.

She is light as a feather on the lead when walking. Travels well, having hopped on and off the warden's van to go to the vets yesterday. She is good with other dogs and has happily met my children.

She is genuinely a lovely girl just looking for someone to love in return for a share of their sofa.

Lovely walk with Gigi today. She likes to keep an eye out for my partner, was keen to get back to her when parted, and is never rough on the lead. She's friendly and sweet, and very keen to investigate when given the chance. Lovely girl who deserves a lovely home.

Walked this lovely girl on Tuesday. She really enjoyed walking (and running) alongside me on the lead. Very inquisitive when out and about,nice natured dog 😊
