Rosie has been returned to Cardiff Dogs Home after being promised a forever home two years ago when she first arrived at CDH
Apparently her owners got another dog recently and the two didn't get along. So it was a case of out with the old in with the new
Rosie is a little underweight, she has a very sore ear and her paws show signs of staining, which can be due to stress, poor diet, or allergies. She doesn't look like the plump little pumpkin that left us 2 years ago Shakira
Rosie is a very affectionate girl, and although she must be completely bewildered at finding herself back at CDH, she is in the very best of hands now and hopefully a bit of time and tlc will see her restored to health
Rosie must wonder what on earth she has done to deserve this
Rosie wasn't vaccinated when she was returned to CDH, and unvaccinated dogs have to spend time in 'soft quarantine' before they can go on the walkers list so Rosie is confined to her kennel for a few more days.
As Rosie has been signed over she is available for rehoming immediately, and if you'd like to meet her, or for more information please phone the Dogs' Home: 029 2071 1243 or visit Cardiff Dogs' Home, Westpoint Industrial Estate, Penarth Road, open 7 days a week, 10.30 - 4pm.
The staff at Cardiff Dogs Home are now taking up vet references as part of the rehoming process, so hopefully whatever happens to Rosie she will be assured of a forever home which can evidence that they have previously owned and taken good care of a dog with timely and appropriate veterinary care.
