Thanks All,
Had a hard night last night over this got really upset but fresh morning brings new twist, Tess will be coming this weekend and needs a loving home after several months of upheaval, she will be with us for a while, did fall in love with Squidge so know she will be loved by others and given the best family possible.
Will sort this out with another addition when Tess can go back to her Dad...
Glad people have understood and have been so kind, it didn't stop me getting upset last night but has made today easier and I still get a little princess to love xxx
Thanks for the support all and for being such truly good people xxx

Little Squidge has had over 1000 views - I can't believe she is still looking She's such a little sweetie and still a baby, she should be curled up on a sofa having cuddles with her own peoples

Took Squidge out for an hour this morning she is a lovely girl, did a bit of lead training, the wonders of liver pate,. She met other dogs along the way and is truly dog friendly. I have some pictures to post to prove that and show how people friendly she is-- don't go away - Photobucket here I come Meeting Fleur who I think went to a new home this morning meeting fellow walkers She loves a stick She quite likes a liver pate finger- so gently Final picture to show that she will sit nicely

Pat, a lovely dog walker says this about Squidgy:
One word to describe her "gorgeous". I have walked her many times and she is happy to meet and greet any dog that comes her way. She also loves the whole of the human race. People say that she's not pretty. Well I think she is beautiful. She loves sticks and toys but has no possession issues and will leave them when asked to do so. She will sit and takes snacks gently, but she can jump like she is using a trampoline!!!. I have no idea why she hasn't been chosen she deserves the best.

We took this picture of Squidge this afternoon on her walk. She is such a sweet girl, and obviously loves being with people. She sits on command beautifully

The person that was going to take Squidge home really wanted a male dog and although she loved Squidge decided she would wait until the right male came along - so, little Squidge is still waitng

I went home on Sat after SWALK thinking great Squidge was going out on trial and once home nobody would return her as she is so lovely. How wrong could I be

Squidge is Friends Dog of the WeekThe lovely girl has indeed been a little 'unlucky in love', but having a reserve that doesn't result in a rehoming is not quite the same as being 'jilted at the altar'. It's a good thing that people think long and hard before they commit to sharing their life with a particular dog, and it is important that they are absolutely sure they have made the right choice. A lot of reserves don't go any further, poor Squidge just seems to have had more than her fair share, but it does mean that the perfect home is still out there ;D Squidge, as one of CDH's 'longest in residence' was part of a very special ceremony on Friday, and played Leading Lady in our award winning production Kong for a KennelTook Squidge out for an hour this morning she is a lovely girl, did a bit of lead training, the wonders of liver pate,. She loves a stick I Guess You're Right.... Check out Squidge's solo album ;D Squidge does have another interest, and she is expecting a visitor this weekend.
