Friends Easter Dog Show & Fayre
Sunday, 1st April, 1pm onwards
St Albans Rugby Football Club, Tremorfa Park, Cardiff, CF24 2RN

We will need a lot of help:

Getting the word out
Making items to sell
Help with asking for donations
Baking - we can sell food (and there is a bar - yeah*)
Helping on the day with either the dog show or stalls

If you can help at all, please post in the sections below.

This is a very worthwhile chance to raise funds for Cardiff Dogs' Home, helping both the Dogs and their environent and will be much appreciated by all connected with the home, especially the 1200 dogs they help a year (and it will be FUN and a good chance to meet each other, the last one was terrific ;D)


*Dogs will not be allowed in the bar area or skittle area but I'm sure that if you come to the show on your own with your dog/s, somebody will be at hand to look after them while you run to the bar ;D

Wat time will the fayre be open till ?

We think all the events will be over about 4.30 - 4.45pm but people can come and go as they like or stay a bit longer for a chat/whatever ;D

Do you need any more raffle prizes?

If so what about "Portraits in the Park" PendragonUK Photographers, www.pendragonuk.co.uk have offered an outdoor photo session for 4 people (and their pets if they wish) in Roath Park any Sunday throughout the summer, prior committments permitting. This will include images on a disc and a few prints.

Keith would normally charge around £150.00 for this

Will get a gift voucher to Susie by the weekend if you want to include this.

I still have about 6 boxes or pork roll in the house from after the last car boot sale. I think (Rach / Susie??) I'm bringing those with me for selling??

Also I have a biggish box of stuff that was left from booty, which is going to the bric-a-brac stand??

If there are clothes to be sold, it would seem that we have one of those portable wheely wardrobe jobbies we can bring if required.

I just made a note in my diary to get baking, as I said I'd make some banana bread and some bara brith.... as I'm in the kitchen anyway... ;D At least I'm not too far away from coffee for the day. ;D

I'm making lots of cakes (most likely chocolate brownies, lemon drizzle and cupcakes as I'm a bit of a nigella wannabe!) What is the best time to bring them down to the rugby club for?
