Now then, this will sort out the generation X's ;D
Who remembers the days before 'lol' I'm l8' 'txt me' ...
In the good ol' days, if you wanted to 'dump your current squeeze', send a message to your loved one, resign from your job, etc, you had to write a letter, put a stamp on it, and walk to the post office. And if it was as billet doux (yes, I know I'm already losing the youngsters), you might write S.W.A.L.K. on the back of the envelope, and if you were really in love, you would put some Mary Quant lippy on.....(come on girls, you know what I'm saying....)
Still with me?
Friends is not all about fundraising. Our aims & objectives, as defined in our Constitution are....

III OBJECTIVES
I. To contribute, in whatever way possible, including the raising of funds to improve facilities at Cardiff Dogs Home to both dogs in its care and public visiting the premises.
II. To promote and raise public awareness of the Dogs Home with special regard given to responsible dog ownership, animal welfare and dogs looking for homes.
III. To work in partnership with Cardiff Council, local Societies and other animal welfare organisations or charities.

So, vis-a-vis Friends' objective #2 above, we're going to get ourselves out this weekend, and do a bit of drillin' down with our longer termers. Poor Snoop, Squidge, Pork Chop, Freddie, Jason, Malibu (what are you lovely dogs doing in this list eh?) have spent far too much time in kennels, and deserve to have a voice. So we're going to be their voice ;D
We'll be meeting at the Home at 12 midday on Saturday, and are going to give these guys and gals (yes, I'm still stuck in the 70's with Jimmy Saville) a bit of an outing
If you are up for a bit of 'doggy delicious time', let'S W A L K
(ahhhhh, that's where this was leading) please post here ;D
If this thread is totally confusing, don't pm me. I'll be back in the morning to answer replies from 'confused.com'
Come and SWALK the doglets on Saturday peeps!
Someone will, I'm sure, be along to tell you what SWALK really meant, in the olden days
